November 29, 2015. Last weekend I went to Tinkershere to return a backward clock that ran forwards. Before getting there I had decided to treat myself to another Raspberry Pi 2. I guess I can’t get enough of these little computers. I purchased the Pi complete with an 8gb micro SD card which had Noob on it.
Upon getting home I hooked up the HDMI to the monitor, mouse and keyboard to the Raspi, and then inserted the 8gb SD card. The system came up right away and I went on to chose Raspian. I then installed SSH and disconnected the monitor, keyboard and mouse. I logged in via my windows machine using Putty and installed Apache, FSTP, MySql, PHP and PHPMYADMIN.
I then upload WordPress, created a MySql database for it and did the quick install. I worked well. I ended up putting the Raspi on top of my Rasp 1. I hope to better lay it out at some later time. Right now I don’t know what to put or use the WordPress site for. So far I have local webservers for My personal life (on the Zotac linux box), This Tech Block on my Beaglebone Black and my Reflections (spritual life) blog on my first Raspiberry Pi 2. I will figure some purpose for my 2nd Raspberry Pi 2 WordPress Blog.
